Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is an awesome chinese buffet and seafood restaurant! I have been to many, and was not disappointed. It's probably the best value restaurant in all of the Rehoboth Beach area if you are very hungry. We came on a Saturday evening in the summer and the restaurant was 75% full. There was no wait at all for a table and service was very quick. COME FOR THE SEAFOOD The steamed blue crabs were hot and fresh, and came out fairly quickly. This alone makes the $15.99 price tag worth it! They have extra Old Bay seasoning available if you want extra spice. The raw oysters were fresh, I could see the guy shucking them behind the counter. Sushi was fresh, there was one chef who's only job seemed to be making sushi as fast as he could. The hibachi/mongolian grill thing had plenty of options, I got a mix of veggies and steak - the steak was extremely tender. Of course they also have your standard mix of Chinese/American food you find at Chinese buffets.

Every time we come here, it's one disappointment after another. It's 3:30 pm. Time for dinner - NOT. But good old Chinatown Buffet is now charging dinner prices, $16 each. Even for our 12-year old. Plus extra for drinks. Plus extra for tips. And the food isn't even that good. Just. Can't. Do. It. Again.

A standard Chinese buffet. Lots of food in lots of warming trays. They keep it mostly fresh. A little to many shellfish options. The beef tasted very tough. More veggies would be nice. There is a "Mongolian" area where you choose your ingredients and they cook it. The only sauces were soy or a mediocre teriyaki. The beef choice was very fatty. There are several desserts none of which are any good. The best dessert is the little ice cream cups. The decor is nice. The front of the restaurant has a nice water feature with lots of koi.

This is a great place for casual Chinese food. All fresh...sushi is wonderful..the fish and chicken selections were seasoned wonderfully and the vegetables..mushrooms and the greenest string beans I ever saw...were delectable.A great meal at a decent price. The staff is very accommodating..Eat up.

Big buffet with a lot of different food. I hoped for more Asian food, but there are more types than that. Fried stuff, vegetables, fruits, noodles.. Decent food, nothing fancy but quite cheap and really enough for a good meal. Would come back if in the area and hungry. Depends what you like and want, the desserts were quite good.

I love this place! My parents live 6 miles from here and whenever I visit I make it a point to come here for dinner. They have seriously 10 different types of chicken. But my favourites have to be the coconut shrimp and they have this amazing dessert dish with vanilla pudding bananas vanilla wafers. The wait staff is friendly and the manager came over to make sure that we were happy.

Wide selection of Chinese and seafood. Grill to order steak. Some items I did not like some items but they were not my taste. Great soup and prompt waitstaff. Nice coi pond at entrance.

We came here for lunch and it wasnt too bad considering the $7.99 price tag. There was just the right amount of variety of food however the sushi was not appealing at all. There was only about 1-2 types? Another thing that confused/annoyed me was the fact that they began mopping the floor while it was still busy... The floor was so wet because of this and so I had to be extra careful while walking otherwise i wouldve been covered in Chinese food! Overall this is a nice cheap place to grab a quick lunch

I am usually a fan of most Chinese buffets but this was my first time coming to this place AND my last! During lunch, we could see the wait staff prepping food items at a side table in the dining area then going over to clear tables of trash and empty plates. No hand washing, no gloves and right back to working on that "prep table". The food temps were way off and I had to pick and choose items on my plate that I could eat. The trash cans were overflowing and the booth that we were sat at was near the kitchen/dish room area. Booth and table area was also not cleaned very well either. Not a very pleasant dining experience at all. Noticed that this place is on a list as one of the restaurants cited by the health department for violations. You can find the article on the delawareonline.com website and it was printed in December 2014. One of the TOP violators in Delaware restaurants!!!! Needless to say, we will not be coming back to this place. If you think this place has GREAT sushi, you have never actually had real sushi. Here's a tip...don't eat here!

Its an ok place. The first buffet row has your traditional Chinese which all of which was very good, alright thought me. Onto the second row- less chinese food more breaded and fried and funky town stuff. Eh ok oh some sushi! When it comes to sushi and buffets I never ever learn! There is never any good sushi at a buffet place and it was the same here, the sushi was very not fresh tasted very funky and not at all like sushi. Advice- stick to the soups and first buffet row, skip the rest.

Been to a lot of Chinese buffets and this one is the best by far. The food is always fresh and there's a ton of varieties.sushi and fresh from the grill As well. Staff is quick to get drinks and to take away dirty plates.. prices are 9 bucks before 3.

Pleasantly surprised at food quality and selection. Husband and I were shopping late at the outlets on Black Friday and wanted to grab something quick to eat. It has your usual Chinese Buffett selections - chicken 100 ways, cocktail shrimp, some sushi, salad bar and desert. A good addition with local flavor were blue crabs - not as well seasoned as seafood restaurants, but still a pleasant surprise for $16 a person. Would eat there again under similar circumstances.

The decor is very nice....oriental beams, pagoda roof, nice setting overall. The food is OK, some items better than others. I tried the Hot and Sour soup and it was not to my liking. The pork dumplings were cold and bland. The vegetarian fried rice was good, not too oily. The steam rice was gooey and sticky, not a good quality rice. I liked their boneless pork rib, their pepper steak and peanut chicken. The fruit was not very good nor sweet either. Hope they can keep an eye on the serving temperature of the food, some items were not warm/hot at all.

Best Chinese buffet in the area. Everything is hot and fresh. The sushi was very good with a nice selection. They have a grill chef to make steak or chicken or shrimp to order. Service is good

Chinese buffets are all the same. A ton of fried foods and a few grilled items. Sushi is common but in the place sushi here is just a piece of california roll. Wow!!! They do have a grill to cook some steak I think. As you can tell my fondness of this place already. They have your standard fare of "chinese" food. Nothing special. It is more expensive then all the others I have been to. 13 bucks and not including soda add another 1.70 or so does not make it cheap eats. They also do not have a vast selection either. The one thing that made me quite mad was that a elderly lady was leaving and wrapped up 2 cookies to take home with her. Waitress saw it and took it back from her. Its 2 cookies, not worth anything. Give it to the lady, she already touched them. Im hoping they threw it away and didnt put it back in the cookie tray. Needless to say thats just poor judgement and customer service on the waitress's part. Happy Eatings! Stay away from here.

Very impressed. We hit here at a none peak hour which I was concerned about. However, I am happy to say I was shocked at how good and plentiful the food was. Even the sushi was good. It didn't have the "fishy" taste/smell that accompanies most Chinese buffet sushi. The price was right and the staff seemed nice. Very nice and clean interior! I wish this place was closer to home.

Bar-none, the nicest Chinese buffet I have ever been to. Went there with a large group of family members who live in the area and had one of the best meals I had during my week of vacation. For starters, the restaurant is bea-U-tiful! I am accustomed to bare-bones, no ambiance buffets... this place has serious class. The large seating area is especially lovely by buffet standards. There is also a waterfall/pond with live turles and huge koi AND a huge Chinese pergola painted in the traditional brightly colored hues. Neato! The kids were oohing and aahing from the moment we walked in the door. The food was not a disappointment either. There was a large selection of hot and cold items. Plenty of seafood choices (including prawns, which I though was a little strange.) Fresh sushi, all the traditional favorites, some American choices, a dessert bar and cold salad bar. They scored major points with me for having both pit-in olives AND Korean kimchee too. My only complaint is that for as busy as the restaurant is, there should be more space between the islands because there are major traffic flow problems here. Not deducting a star for that though, because overall the experience was great.

I have been here three times now. Variety has been pretty average Chinese buffet stuff; three soups, several chicken and beef entrees, vegetables are surprisingly good, mac & cheese and pepperoni pizza for kids, frozen yogurt or small cakes for dessert. Several shellfish selections, however I am leery of warmed-over seafood, and what I thought was melted mozzarella cheese turned out to be lobster sauce (major texture surprise). Fresh fruit is a plus. They have sushi, but I found it tasteless. I found the server prompt and pleasant. Parking was adequate, and the place is comfortable enough. This is where we go if we need a Chinese food fix, but we're still looking for a good take-out place.

My friend and I stopped at this place while shopping in Rehoboth. This is one of the best chinese buffet restaurants I have ever been to! We went at the end of the night about an hour before they closed, and all of the food was hot and fresh and the food was delicious! There was SO much food to choose from, including stuff like pizza for picky eaters out there. There were soups, all of the chinese dishes you can imagine, seafood dishes, etc. They even had an entire dessert buffet section too...as if we had room for dessert after all of the food we ate! And best of all, we paid like $12. This place definitely gets 5 stars.

All the items are flavorful and the wait staff is friendly. I usually go at lunch when there is no crowd and no wait.

I am a Chinese food fanatic. AND, I have been to MANY Chinese buffets in many cities and several countries (sadly not China). This restaurant, which serves few locals and mostly beach tourists, is up the with the best of them. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the lack of variety. Their menu is nearly identical day in, day out, year in, year out. BUT, since the food is excellent, maybe that is not a bad thing? A few basics about this kind of food. This is "Chinese-AMERICAN" cuisine. It bares little resemblance to REAL Chinese food! Much of it is fried. OK, my favorite dish here is the Chow Mei Fun. Fine noodles with a little pork, shrimp and veggies. It is neither greasy nor salty here. It IS tasty. Their "hot and sour" soup is neither, but it IS excellent. More like an "OO" soup in other restaurants. I add some of their freshly chopped scallions and a dollop of hot crushed pepper sauce to my bowl. I am sure I could request and get ruce vinegar, if I wanted. The soup is loaded with mushroom stems and to fu. Their other soups are also excellent. Although I am addicted to hot and sour soup, I will sometimes take wontons in egg drop soup! That is one of the joys of a buffet. You can easily do that! I do prefer my wontons a bit softer than theirs, but this is not a fault. They offer a variety of dim sums, too. All have been excellent. There are three long tables with food. Two are steam tables with hot food (hot temperature wise. NONE of their dishes are really hot spice wise. Spice heat is available with the sauce I add to my hot and sour soup). They will have a mixed seafood dish with snow cabbage. A chicken with brocolli dish and several seafood dishes for those who like shell fish such as mussels. They also have some purely American dishes like pizza. As well as Chinese seasoned fried chicken wings and chicken on a stick. This dish USED to be sort of teriyaki, but changed into a seasoning dusted, fried, chicken. The restaurant also does a wonderful poached salmon. NOT Chinese at all, but I love it! The food is put out in small amounts so that it does NOT sit. This is VERY important for a buffet to be good. It means you can count on the food being at least moderately fresh. IF you want VERY fresh, there is someone at the back of the restaurant with a grill. There you can order grilled steak, shrimp or other dishes the way YOU want them. This is included in the very reasonable pricing, but you may wish to tip the grill cook separately. There is enough variety for EVERYONE's taste. The back long table is cold, not hot. It has desserts, salad stuff and something reputed to be one of the seven healthiest foods, Kim Chi! As with the hot foods, there are a wide variety of desserts. Everything from cookies to fresh fruit to pudding and ice cream. I love a little of their vanilla on top of tapioca pudding. They sometimes also have fried red bean and sesame balls. Finally, all too many Chinese restaurants everywhere rely on MSG for flavor instead of good cooking. NOT THIS restaurant. Both my wife and I are VERY sensitive to MSG. Headaches, sweats, cardiac effects. YOU name it, we get it. We are able to eat here with NO adverse effects! Even the decor is pleasant, and I - personally - LOVE the nbackground music favored by the place. If you are out here in Delaware, either as a local or enjoying the tax free shopping at the outlets and the beach, with or without kids, this is a GREAT place for an informal meal.

Nice assortment of the standard chinese buffet dishes, The one thing I cannot tolerate is turning the heat down on the buffet tables to save money. Lukewarm foods is not acceptable. I'll not be back

Been here three times, the second and third time was better than the first. The food is ok, nothing to brag about. Service is good.

The only chinese buffets in the Rehoboth and even Ocean City, they do a good job at it. Huge selection of traditional Chinese fare and American classics. We were here on a Sunday afternoon around noon-thirty and this place was packing it in. People by the van load were piling in and eating their share, even a birthday party. For $8.95 (excluding drink) you can't beat it.

It's a great place and the service is too. I like to get there between 11am and 1:30pm for the freshest lunch. I can't say I ever had anything bad here, but there has been times the item I was trying to get never got replenished but maybe I should have said something. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend or go back to this place.
(4)Yifan C.
The only star I gave just for their service. This place has the worst food that I had ever had in Chinese buffet.
